Nike has always been a passion project for me. I aspire to one day work in-house for them. Whenever I can, I do projects and assignments using Nike as the company of choice. Here are a collection of some of my favorite Nike pieces I’ve done.
For my Advertising final project, I decided to make a full-page ad for Nike on their newest shoes that came out at the time. Here, I used all the principles I learned throughout the semester to come up with an eye-catching ad that was on brand with Nike’s current ad styles.
For one of my photography projects, I chose to do some product photography, and this was the shot I got. After I took this shot, I found it interesting enough to turn it into a Nike ad to showcase a combination of photography skills and design.

When working with a specific brand and coming up with a new ad campaign, the challenge is staying on brand and consistent throughout all your pieces. The challenge for this assignment was to create an interactive print magazine ad and postcards campaign for the holidays. My solution for this was to create a two-page magazine spread that came wrapped in holiday wrapping paper that you tear away giving you a sensation of opening a gift up. But, as the copy in the ad states, the party doesn’t stop there; you can continue tearing away at the ad to get a taste of what you would get if you bought the shoes.
Along with the spread, I made some interactive postcards that would accompany the campaign and reach people through the mail. They also get the sense of opening up a gift and would get a coupon and a shoe ornament.
